illegal action or activity.
Commit a crime (verb) e.g. He commited a crime and he paid for it
Criminal is the person
who commits a crime. The word is also used as an adjective. e.g. There
is some criminal activity in this area.
The difference
between rob and steal:
Rob – robbed - robbed (verb) means to take
something from a place or person. e.g. Rob
a bank. Rob and old lady.
Steal – stole – stolen (verb) means to
take something. e.g. The kids stole chocolate.
My car was stolen last month.
